Tom McMahon, boxing expert, who has watched Carter in many of his matches and who has said that the colored boy looked better than did Benny Leonard, Joe Rivers, Johnny Kilbane and other fistic greats at the outset of their careers, told Seattle people Tuesday that Carter 'will never amount to shucks until he is placed with someone again who has had wide experience and knows what to do in emergencies.
