	Fleming is the Canadian Featherweight Champion. He had been warned a few times early in the scrap for striking low. At the end of the ninth, unwilling to accept apparent defeat, he punched his foe as Wallace walked to his corner. Wallace quickly turned around and began assaulting Fleming. They were soon swinging blows at each other. Their seconds and friends began to mix it up, too. Fans seated close to the ring jumped to their feet and crowded the ropes, edging the fighters on in a free-for-all. The referee and seconds somehow managed to restore calm among all present. Wallace, determined to get even, committed a similar foul on Fleming as the gong sounded the end of the bout. And, once again, all hell broke out. A riot was narrowly averted as the boxers were finally separated and taken to their dressing rooms, both being hissed and cheered in turn.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
