After losing the first round, McDuff dropped Bettina with a right hand to the jaw, for a nine-count. Bettina rallied though, and dropped McDuff a minute later with a left to the chin. Over the remainder of the bout, Bettina neutralized McDuff's only threat, his right hand, and landed heavily to head and body, as he won clearly the rest of the way.
