His left hand was constantly low coming back off the jab, and Cooper was loading up on the right hand looking to land the bomb over de Wit's left. When Cooper's right hand lead finally counter landed with power, de Wit fell backwards to the canvas. De Wit got up, and came back strong, but Cooper continued to score with the overhand counter right over de Wit's low left. A series of Cooper counter power shots to the head found the mark in the last thirty seconds of round two, and de Wit reeled backwards defenseless. Cooper landed a power left to the head of de Wit on the ropes. De Wit pitched face forward to the canvas. He barely beat the count, but his face was a bloody mess, and de Wit's nose appeared to be broken gushing blood.
