			Note- Only a few hours before this bout took place, the 1933 Long Beach Earthquake, which had a magnitude of 6.4, hit the Los Angeles area at 5:54 pm, killing between 115 and 120 people and resulting in an estimated 40 million dollars worth of property damage, notably some very extensive damage to a number of schools. It was felt that if the earthquake hit a few hours earlier when children were attending school, there would have been a much higher death toll. On April 10, 1933, the California Legislature passed the Field Act, which mandated that school buildings in the state be "earthquake-resistant." Source: Wikipedia
