	Keeny Teran, 115 ½, stopped High Riley, 117 ½, in the sixth round of their ten-round main event before 2,500 fans at the Olympic Auditorium. Riley, a fast-footed boxer with a pair of fast punching hands, gave Teran a speedy time of it in the first two rounds. He jabbed and out-ran Teran to take the first, but Teran nabbed the second round with some hard hooks to the body. Apparently, the super speed Riley was exhibiting and Teran’s body shots took their toll after two rounds because, in the third round, he began to fight flat-footed instead of dancing on his toes and wheeling around the ring in high gear. This enabled Teran to catch the Scot and connect with some hefty hooks to the body. Riley made his first mistake in the fourth round when he elected to slug it out with the lethal left-hooking Teran. Keeny nailed him solidly to the body and shook him up with rights to the head. Riley’s punches seemed to have no effect on the cool, determined Teran. Riley absorbed a pretty bad head and body beating in the fifth as Teran chased him all over the ring without a letup. Several times Riley was stunned but out-ran Teran to escape disaster. But the sixth round wasn’t very old before Teran forced Riley against the ropes and caught him with a right to the head that dropped him. He staggered to his feet at the count of nine but was in no condition to continue after he arose, and referee Mushy Callahan stopped the fight.
