Nestell won the 1st round, staggering Rosenbloom with a right hand. Thereafter, he appeared confused as to whether to try to outslug Rosenbloom, or outbox him. Nestell chose to attempt to outbox Rosenbloom, and failed as he was easy prey for Rosenbloom. Rosenbloom bloodied Nestell's nose with a right hand in the 2nd round, and cut him over both eyes by the 9th round. Well behind, Nestell rallied in the last two rounds, but Rosenbloom nullified his efforts by clinching and ducking away. The ''Los Angeles Times'', gave Rosenbloom eight of the ten rounds.</div>Matt
