&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;This is a black and white photo of the boxer Jack Ortega who held the heavyweight championship of Panama around 1912.  The photo was taken from the newspaper, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;The San Franciso Call&amp;#039;&amp;#039; pg. 7. December 1, 1900, and is therefore public domain in the US.  This is the second time the picture has been uploaded as the first version could not be pulled into the main records page for Jack Ortega.  Ortega was sentenced to life imprisonment on this date, but was released after around ten years and moved to Panama from San Francisco to resume his boxing career which had begun prior to 1900.  He is around 24 in the picture.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
