Letter from UCLA Medical School acknowledging that [[Pete Sanstol]] had willed his body to them for science. Dated Feb. 24, 1975 (seven years before his death).

Unlike his wife, Bessie, who donated her body to the University of Washington Medical School, UCLA did not return any of Pete's remains to the family after they were done; this was not their practice at the time. Bessie's were returned to her family, however, and her ashes gently placed in the Puget Sound waters during a Mukilteo-Clinton ferry run a year after her death on Feb. 14, 1994.
