			The bout was fought outdoors, and the ''Columbus Dispatch'' noted that the weather was cold. Attendance was only approximately 1,000, and the ''Dispatch'' reported that the promoter lost $1,200 putting on the program in the cold weather. The ''Dispatch'' also felt Greb won easily, noting that he missed consistently in the early rounds, perhaps struggling to acclimate to the cold weather. Greb later settled down, and the fight would pick up starting in the 5th round.
