Luis Enrique Keb-Baas, better known in M�xico as "Baby Luis II" was a real great fighter who had action in the late 70�s until he decided to say goodbye in 1987 after loosing for the second time against also yucatecan Jorge Cano looking for Mexico�s jr. flyweight belt.<br />
<br />
He fougth with Mexico�s and world�s top contenders such as Isidro "Sid" P�rez who later would become WBO�s flyweight cahmpion, and Santiago M�ndez (+), and Cano who pursued the WBC�s jr. flyweight belt against Jung-Koo-Chang in 1985.<br />
<br />
"Baby Luis II" was a boxer with all to be a star but his character and temper didn�t help him.<br />
<br />
He was and still is a gentleman in all aspects of life, but he also wanted to be in the gym and in the ring, and as you all know that�s not possible, about all if you want to be someone.<br />

Son of Luis Keb Poot "Baby Luis I", who took this nickname from his idol, the original "Baby Luis", a cuban boxer who came a M�xico in the early 60�s after Cuba changed it�s goverment to comunist, "Baby Luis II" is member of one of the most ancient families dedicted to boxing in M�xico which has it�s base in the little village known as Hunucm� in the southeastern state of Yucat�n, known for it�s boxing tradition with world champions as Miguel Canto, Lupe Madera, Freddy Castillo and "Guty" Espadas father and son.<br />

He had other brother, Jos� Alfredo "Baby Luis III" who retired due to vision problems, and the current top contenders, Juan Alfonso "Baby Luis IV" and Jos� Gilberto "Baby Luis V".<br />

By the way, he�s the manager of his two younger brothers whom he had taken to one world title oportunity each one.<br />

Juan Alfonso went for the WBO minimun belt in april 6 2001 in M�rida loosing a very strecht and narrow, but fair decision against colombian Kermin Guardia in which has been catalogued by all local experts as the best of 14 world title fights in history of this city, the capital of Yucat�n.<br />

Few months before, Jos� Gilberto lost an unanimous decision in Madison, Wisconsin aginst puerto rican Eric Morel, whose manager, Bobby Lynch declared to international news agencys that Keb had been the toughest contender his boxer had ever had.</div>Unknown user
