	James "Jack" Quarry, (July 14, 1922-January 21, 2006) was the hard-nosed father of boxers [[Jerry Quarry\|Jerry]], [[Mike Quarry\|Mike]], and [[Bobby Quarry]]. Quarry was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, where he lived before riding the rails out west to California at the age of 14. There he met and married Arwanda Tolbert, with whom he had eight children.
