	Hostak began the fight cautiously, barely throwing a punch in the 1st round, as he ducked an ~~acitve~~ Snapp's blows. The 5th and 6th round were fairly even, as was the 7th, until Snapp pounded Hostak to the head and body, which appeared to have the 32-year old former Middleweight champion gasping for air. In the 8th round, Hostak came out with a two-handed assault to the head and body, that had Snapp appearing dazed. However, Snapp responded with a right hand to Hostak's jaw, which buckled Hostak's knees and appeared to nearly have him headed to the canvas, until the bell rang to end the round.

Snapp who felt he had built up a significant lead over Hostak, got on his bicycle over the last two rounds, to capture the split decision victory.
