	Jimmy Campbell was born and raised in London's east end on the "Council Estates" which are akin to the worst projects in America's inner cities. During his childhood he was torn between homes due to his mother and fathers' ill fated union. Jimmy was predominantly raised by his Nan and grandad.
	At a young age Jimmy was forced to face bigger lads in fist fights. During the same time period the "Rocky" series was growing in popularity his step father bought him his first set of boxing gloves. Jimmy often accompanied his step father and brother to local gyms as both were amateur and professional pugilist; at other times he went alone. At an early age he understood he had great potential yet his early life was dominated by poverty, abuse and violence.

	Despite his formative years growing up in the east end Jimmy has become a true success story. He has engaged himself in rigorous physical training, pursued education and religious enlightment. He came to the United States to pursue his dream of boxing professionally and in one years time has become the largest single gate draw in the mid-west.
