The fight started even, with Rodriguez getting the edge in the 1st round. But he was dropped in the 2nd when Medrano caught him with a left hook coming off the ropes. Medrano went all out to try to finish Rodriguez but couldn&#039;t land the big punch before the bell. From that point, it was all Rodriguez, fighting in wild flurries, throwing every punch like it was a hay-day. Medrano was knocked down twice in the 7th and once again in each of the remaining rounds.
