:Paladin, weighing 135 pounds, fought Jack Richards at Battery A Armory to a three-round draw. The judges permitted a fourth round and awarded the bout to Paladin on points. The show was put on for the family of [[Bill Kardinski]], Belleville, Ill., amateur, who died of brain concussion following a bout April 21. Paladin&amp;#039;s death leaves his mother and five younger children destitite, as the father is an invalid.&lt;br /&gt;
