For the two first rounds Prescott shook Kraus with crisp combinations, but was forced to step back as the Bomber stormed forward. By the third round Kraus had lost much of his steam, but he managed one last blow to Prescott's head before he was chased across the ring with left jabs and finally dropped with a right cross. Kraus was counted out on his knees.
