(In 1971, Ceru had ended the Dane Borge Krogh&#039;s long and distinguised career with a 6th round stoppage).<br /> <br /> Hoydahl received a sound beating over the 8 rounds. Only in the 3rd was he able to land one big punch which shook the seasoned Italian. Most of the way it was Ceru who had the command with hard series which the Norwegian took without showing signs of going down. Ceru admitted to the press afterwards that the Norwegian&#039;s counter punches had unusual power all through the fight.</div>
