	"Irish Frankie Crawford, outweighed by seven pounds, scored the boxing upset of the year last night with a 10 round majority decision over highly publicized Mando Ramos of Long Beach before a sell-out crowd of around 10,400 at the Olympic Auditorium. Crawford ripped open a nasty gash with a right over Ramos' left eye in the 2nd round and, keeping it in a bloody mess from then on, earned the verdict to give the 18 year old youngster only his second loss in 20 fights.
