The hard-punching Ramos, 135, to his opponent's 134 1/2, had the Japanese down and obviously in bad shape in the 5th round. In an overpowering assault early in the 6th, throwing punches from all angles, primarily to the mid-section, Ramos had his opponent on the floor for an automatic eight-count. Another volley of lefts and rights battered the game Numata down and he was flat on his stomach, trying to roll onto his back.
