"In MSG Friday night, rangy Orlando Zulueta of Cuba peppered Cisco Andrade with left jabs in the first two rounds. But after that, Andrade found the range with short overhanded rights to the head, and only in the 7th round did the Cuban again have an advantage. Orlando was half groggy in the 9th. A right sent him lurching sideways until one glove touched the canvas. It was a slip. Zulueta expected referee Al Berl to wipe off his glove and he dropped his hands. Cisco hit him with another right that nearly floored him. Zulueta was also staggered in the 3rd session. He wound up with a cut left brow, a swollen left eye, and a cut on his upper lip. Andrade suffered a gash on his right brow and a scratch on his right cheek. Andrade got the unanimous decision: 6-3-1, 6-3-1, 7-3." -United Press
