	"Crafty Orlando Zulueta, a Cuban hit and run jab artist, stood off Larry Boardman's brawling rushes the first eight rounds to win a split (majority) 10 round decision tonight from the No.1 lightweight contender. After Zulueta's lightning fast left jabs reddened the left side of Boardman's face and left him confused during the first two rounds, Boardman changed his tactics to his more familiar roughhouse style and went in wading. However, the veteran Zulueta, who has never been knocked down in 96 fights, recovered after two rounds of the bruising and managed to keep Boardman pretty much at bay thereafter. Zulueta opened a cut over Boardman's left eye in the 5th round with his persistent jabbing.
