	Semenkewitz (Samenco) was sentenced to 15-to-20 years in New Jersey State Prison on January 9, 1936, after an escape from Middlesex County Jail with his companion Edward Metelski, who had been facing a death warrant on February 17, 1936 for the murder of a state trooper. Semenkewitz was being held on a robbery charge, when the two escaped on December 14th, he received 12-to-15 years on that count, and received an additional 3-to-5 years for intent to rob.
