Rojas knocked down Kang in the 4th and 8th rounds with right hands to the chin. It appeared at first that Rojas was too short and lacked the reach to score against the taller Korean who had the advantage of fast defensive hands and legs. Rojas had trouble getting through Kang&#039;s defense in the first three rounds and was behind on points. In fact, Rojas didn&#039;t land a solid punch until midway in the 4th round. A few seconds later Rojas startled the huge throng by landing a sharp right cross flush on the button and the Korean dropped in his tracks in the center of the ring. Kang got up at the count of three, but the same thing happened in the 8th round when Rojas landed another right and Kang again stumbled to the canvas. Rojas then piled up the points steadily as Kang preferred to continue on the defensive. It wasn&#039;t until the 15th round that Kang opened up. The Korean cut Rojas&#039; right eye severely and won the last round decisively.
