Hollett and Gumbs were cautious in the opening two rounds, Hollett then stunned Gumbs early in the 3rd when he landed two hard lefts. Caught with a left hook with 27 seconds left in the 3rd, Gumbs was knocked to the canvas, the only time he was in trouble. In the 5th, Hollett's hands dropped to his side after he took a powerful right to the head and Gumbs followed with a series of combinations that sent his opponent reeling. Hollett didn't respond to cries from his corner to raise his guard and referee Guy Jutras stepped between the fighters and stopped the bout at 1:31 of the 5th." -Canadian Press
