"On Wednesday night, Scott LeDoux stood in his corner awaiting with suspicion the official decision of his 10 round fight against Pedro Soto at MSG. After a slow start, LeDoux knew he had finished strongly enough to warrant the victory. Soto appeared on his way to an easy victory, but, as is his custom, tired in the last four rounds and was unable to maintain his early advantage. At that point, LeDoux stepped up his attack and nearly knocked out his 20 year old Puerto Rican opponent with a right-left combination one minute into round nine. Soto, his face a crimson mask, held on desperately to finish the fight to give LeDoux a split victory."
