	Fulgencio Zuniga was originally ~~supposed~~ to ~~fight~~ Jean Pascal in the main event. ~~Demers wound up fighting Miranda~~ in a ~~bout originally scheduled~~ for ~~twelve but shorted on fight night in Canada to ten rounds~~. ~~The first five rounds were a typical boxer versus puncher matchup, very close, with Demers landing more blows but mostly insignificant (lacking any power whatsoever)~~. ~~He appeared to have a great respect for Miranda~~'s ~~power, and therefore boxed cautiously. Miranda~~, ~~who had knocked out nine straight opponents coming into this bout~~, ~~stalked Demers~~ the ~~entire bout, landing the cleaner and harder punches, stunning~~ Demers ~~on occasion and finally dropping him for~~ an ~~eight count in~~ the ~~ninth. Demers intentionally spit his mouthpiece out~~ a ~~total~~ of ~~four times during the bout,~~ and ~~though warned every time he did it, was never penalized~~ by ~~the referee,~~ in ~~front of~~ a ~~hometown Canadian crowd~~. ~~The last three rounds were clearly Miranda's, with two Canadian judges scoring~~ the ~~ten round~~ bout for ~~Miranda~~. ~~Incredibly, the Canadian who initially reported the outcome of this contest on the Boxrec reported Demers as the winner of the split decision anyway!~~		*[[Fulgencio Zuniga]] was originally scheduled to take on [[Jean Pascal]] in a [[Super middleweight\|Super Middleweight]] bout for the main event of this card.
