 Judge Marty Sammon scored it 114-113 for Diaz. Ed Kugler saw it 115-112 for Guerrero. &lt;br /&gt;
 Marshall Walker scored it 115-112 for Diaz. &amp;quot;I thought I edged it out, but the judges &lt;br /&gt;
 thought different,&amp;quot; Guerrero said. Guerrero appeared to catch a break in the 12th when &lt;br /&gt;
 &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;referee Dan Stell took a point away from Diaz for a blow to the back of the head.&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; But &lt;br /&gt;
 Diaz had already done enough to win over Sammon and Walker.&lt;br /&gt;

 Diaz held his own with a spirited effort down the stretch to secure his points &lt;br /&gt;
 victory - despite &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;having a point deducted late in the final round&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; by referee Dan &lt;br /&gt;
 Stell for hitting behind the head.&lt;br /&gt;
 After twelve hard fought rounds, Diaz was awarded the biggest victory of his career. &lt;br /&gt;
 Judges Marshall Walker and Marty Sammon scored the fight for the new champion from &lt;br /&gt;
 Mexico City, Mexico, by the scores of 115-112 and 114-114 while Ed Kugler scored &lt;br /&gt;
 the fight for Guerrero, 115-112.&lt;br /&gt;
