			Much like Alexander the Great sweeping across the country conquering new lands, rising boxing star '''Gennady "GGG' Golovkin'''
			(31-0, 28 KOs) planted his flag on the West Coast Saturday night when he '''captured the interim WBC middleweight title''' to go
			along with his WBA and IBO titles, '''knocking out Mexican Marco Antonio "El Veneno" Rubio (59-7-1, 51 KOs) in the second'''
			'''round. Broadcast live on HBO, a sold-out crowd of nearly 9,000 fight fans packed into the StubHub Center in Carson, CA,''' to
			witness the U.S. West Coast debut of undefeated Golovkin of Karaganda, Kazakhstan.
			As Golovkin went around the floor of the StubHub on his way to the ring, in a pre-fight victory lap to the sounds of the
			White Stripes, the atmosphere was electric as the majority of the crowd was rooting for the eastern European, despite the
			crowd being predominately Latino.
			The night marked the third fight this year for Golovkin, who stopped Osumanu Adama in January and Daniel Geale in July.
			Rubio was a on a six-fight win streak after his last loss back in early 2012 when he dropped a unanimous decision to
			Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Rubio captured the interim WBC middleweight title, which he lost on the scale the day before after
			nearly coming two pounds overweight the 160-pound limit, in his last fight over Dominico Spada in April.
			The bell to start the fight rang among chants of "triple GGG, triple GGG" and a mostly first round of study followed with
			Rubio checking to see if he could take the most avoided punch in boxing. Golovkin didn't land much until the closing
			seconds of the round with a right hand getting through Rubio's guard before the bell.
			Golovkin turned up the heat in the second and that meant the end the hesitant Rubio. The champion landed a quick jab
			followed by a right hand and when Rubio began to back up, GGG followed with a devastating '''right uppercut, followed by a'''
			'''left hook.''' Rubio was hurt and began to move around the perimeter of the ring looking to escape the onslaught that was sure
			to be unleashed.
			He didn't. Golovking trapped him against the ropes and went to work. While letting his hands go, Golovkin landed a
			'''chopping left hook near the top of Rubio's head. Rubio went down.''' Rubio slowly began to get up at the count of eight by
			'''referee Jack Reiss but did not reach his feet before ten as the third man in the ring waved off the fight.'''
			The knockout win marked the eighteenth in a row by Golovkin and in his interview with HBO's max Kellerman minutes after
			the fight, he called out "Canelo" Alvarez, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and Miguel Cotto, the current WBC middleweight champion. – Felipe Leon
			Walters Stops "Filipino Flash"
			Undefeated Jamaican KO artist '''Nicholas "Axe Man" Walters (25-0, 21 KOS) became the lone WBA featherweight champion after '''
			'''stopping five-divisional world champion Nonito "Filipino Flash" Doniare (33-3, 21 KOS) in the sixth round''' of a scheduled
			twelve in the semi-main event.
			Walters captured the vacant WBA regular featherweight title with a seventh round TKO over Daulis Prescott back in early
			2012, while Donaire grabbed the Super version of the same title with a 5th round technical decision over Simpiwe Vetyeka
			in Macau, China, last May.
			Walters of Montego Bay, Jamaica, looked in trouble when he was rocked near the end of the second round from a laser-like
			accurate left hook from Donaire. Donaire looked solid as he was countering the hesitant Walters with left hooks to the
			body and up top.
			Walters kept boxing and early '''in the third''', as Donaire looked to get on the inside, the Jamaican caught the Filipino with
			'''a right uppercut that forced Donaire to touch his glove against the canvas.'''
			Walters was caught in the fourth and Donaire, in the fifth, while his right eye began to swell giving him trouble in
			seeing the stiff jab from Walters. Donaire still was landing accurately with left hooks and a counter straight right,
			but Walters was increasingly making his power known as he landed hard punches to the body and head of Donaire that began
			to bust up the face of the Filipino.
			In the next round, Walters steadily began to take more control of the action as he was being successful in making Donaire
			missing and then scoring especially to that increasingly swelling right eye. During a heated exchange at the end of the
			sixth, '''Walters slipped a punch and countered with a right hand to the side of Donaire's head, which sent the former champ'''
			'''to the canvas. At the count off five Donaire tried to reach his feet but it was obvious that he was hurt and was not able'''

			Both fighters displayed true respect towards each other in their post fight interviews with Donaire being very candid and
			admitting that he was beat by just a better fighter at that weight. Donaire did not state if he would continue at

			"La Bomba" Rodriguez Wins Snoozer
			In the main event of a two-bout fight card broadcast on HBO Latino, Dominican Republic's '''Edwin "La Bomba" Rodriguez''' (25-1,
			16 KOS) '''earned a lopsided unanimous decision over Azea Augustama (17-2, 9 KOS) over ten light heavyweight rounds.'''
			Rodriguez, best known for winning the super middleweight tournament held in Monte Carlo, Monaco a couple of years ago,
			tried to make it more of a fight but Augustama was not that all interested in engaging much.
			Rodriguez went after him with wild power punches as he looked to trap Augustama of Hollywood, Florida, by way of Haiti,
			against the ropes but his opponent proved to be pretty good defensively as he slipped the majority of the punches.
			Neither man had enough pop in their punches to make any time of damage but Rodriguez controlled the action with just sheer
			aggression. At the end, '''all three judges saw it for Rodriguez with scores of 100-90 twice and 99-91'''. – Felipe Leon
			Han Decisions Reyes
			In a slight upset, Korean-American '''Abraham "Abie" Han''' (23-1, 14 KOS) of El Paso, Texas, '''outhustled''' Chihuahua, Mexico's
			'''Marcos "Dorado" Reyes''' (32-2, 24 KOS) '''to earn a majority decision in a ten round middleweight bout.''' The fight was the
			opener of the HBO Latino broadcast.
			Han proved to be quicker as he made use of his jab early on to control the distance and not allow Reyes to come in too
			close to deliver any power punches. Han also was able to counter punch Reyes well with combinations as Reyes looked to
			push the El Paso native against the ropes. The more mobile of the two, Han was able to move laterally to get away from
			Reyes as the Mexican began to turn up the pace of the fight midway through throwing hard combinations.
			Reyes began to bring it on in the fifth as he got braver and pushed to exchange with Han. Reyes kept pushing in the
			second half of the fight with Han having his moments, but Reyes steadily changed the momentum of the fight as he kept
			pressuring the moving Han and '''dropping his opponent at the end of the eighth.''' Han got his second win in the following
			round and threw more punches than Reyes since the fifth. Reyes was deducted a point for hitting after the bell.
			With the fight close, Reyes went for the knockout in the tenth and final round, scoring with huge right hooks. Han
			stayed right there with him but Reyes took the round.
			It wasn't enough as two judges saw it for Han with scores of 97-91 each while the third had it even with 94-94. – Felipe Leon
			Sarnoi Decisions Najera
			In the opening bout from the Stub Hub Center, '''featherweights Walter Sarnoi of Los Angeles and Sergio Najera''' battled
			it out for four rounds, going the distance. Sarnoi boxed away in the opening round connecting with clean punches.
			The Mexican Najera pressed forward in round two as Sarnoi continued keep his distance.
			In round three, however, the '''referee deducted a point from Najera for a low blow.''' Sarnoi took his time to recover.
			Sensing the urgency, Najera attacked as Sarnoi popped the jab and countered, to last the round.
			'''The judges scored the bout unanimously for Sarnoi 40-35, 40-35, and 39-36.''' Sarnoi improves his record to 16-4, 10 KOs,

			Madiyev Wins Debut
			Lightweights '''Ruslan Madiyev of Kazakhstan, and Salinas, California's Oscar Rojas made their debuts in a four-rounder.'''
			'''A left hook right hand combination by Madiyev dropped Rojas in the opening round.''' The Kazakh continued to overwhelm
			Rojas with pressure in round two as Madiyev backed him up. The third round saw the two fighter's trade as Madiyev
			suffered a cut above his right eye, but in the closing seconds of the round, Madiyev stunned Rojas with a barrage
			of punches. Rojas was saved by the bell. In the fourth and final round, Madiyev continued to bring the pressure
			while Rojas fought on to the final bell.

			scheduled six-round junior welterweight bout. Rodriguez pressured in the opening round while Ocegueda boxed
			patiently behind the jab, countering. Ocegueda landed clean punches in round two and he began to pressure, backing
			Rodriguez. Ocegueda began working the body in round three ,following up with power shots to the head.
			Boxing effectively in round four, Ocegueda worked patiently, countering as Rodriguez came forward. '''In the fifth''',
			Rodriguez, bleeding from a busted lip, pressed throwing haymakers. Later in the round, Rodriguez connected with a
