A sharp right to the chin spilled him for six, a moment later, and a left to the head dropped him again in the 3rd. Then for the rest of the distance, Terris slugged, head to head, and toe to toe. Almost every round Wallace, nearly swept off his feet by the fury of the attack, nailed Terris solidly to the head and body, but the New Yorker swarmed over Wallace. Terris pinned Wallace on the ropes in the 10th for a full minute and smothered him with a storm of blows." -Associated Press
