His name was Robert &#039;Ginger&#039; Stewart (My father)born 14th June 1920 in Hamilton. His younger brother was also a boxer called George Stewart and he is also listed in the encyclopedia. <br /> <br /> There are many press articles about my father, one in particular springs to mind that was in the Hamilton Advertiser (21/12/1946) It details Ginger beating Tommy Amour in ulster on 16/12/1946 he then flew straight to London and fought the dutch fighter Giel De Roode losing on points.<br /> <br /> My father had eight children and lived in Blackpool England (married three times).
