	Kid Tano of Spain was down in the 2nd round from a left-right combination from the Norwegian Tore Magnussen. He was up at 4. Tano went into infighting with his head first, trying to mess up the stylish Norwegian. Another right hook put Tano down again in the 3rd, this time he was up at 8th. He still went for infighting and scored with body blows in the middle rounds, one of them putting Magnussen on his knees in the 7th. Magnussen was cut on the eyebrow in the same round, but a series in the 8th cut Tano over the nose. Most felt the verdict should have been a draw, and the fight was wildly applauded by the 4000 in the Bullfight arena.
