Hinkey knocked down Finney with his first significant volley of the fight, a left hook followed by a right hook that sent Finney back into the ropes, drawing a count from the referee, who ruled that only the ropes kept Finney from going down. Finney was able to continue, and tried gamely to fire back at the oncoming Hinkey, but Hinkey landed another powerful left hook that seemed to end Finney’s night before a right hook finished the job as Finney was already going down. The referee didn’t even start a count before waving the bout over.</div>Rvk2007
