"A sound decision over Zora Folley has given Britain's Brian London hopes of a comeback at 33 - and perhaps a crack at British heavyweight champion Henry Cooper. London took everything the once highly rated Folley could hammer at him. And by the closing rounds he was surging forward, scoring freely with flicking lefts and an occasional thumping right. Folley appeared to have control over London in the early stages. Before the 1st round ended he had blood streaming from London's nose. Two rounds later London was in command, but to the crowd's amazement Folley survived a two-fisted barrage and came out fresh for the 4th. This time it was London's turn to look worried. Folley threw in his strongest punches and London was often an open target. From that point on it was a slugging match. London opened the final round beating Folley about the body with both hands. The American fought back, but at the final bell referee Harry Gibbs made London the clear winner." -Associated Press
