Sky commentary team all had Ampofo winning the fight including Duke McKenzie, Spencer Oliver and Barry McGuigan. Another controversial issue was that two of the judges scored the fight even and the third judge somehow had Armour ahead, this would normally make the fight a majority draw. But due to WBU rules, if two judges have the fight even, then the fighter who gets the other vote gets the win, so Armour was given the decision."
