Nitchie took three of the first four rounds from Jadick, but was nailed by a right hand to the jaw in the 5th round that sent him to the canvas. Nitchie staggered his way to the bell to end the 5th round. Nitchie managed to stay away for Jadick for much of the final round, but near the end of the round took another right to the jaw, which floored him again. The final bell rang with Nitchie taking a count on one knee.
