• Marvin Johnson rattles Charles Williams with the first telling power shot of the fight, a huge uppercut thrown by Johnson that snaps back the head of Williams late in round 3.
• Williams again buzzed by a series of hard Johnson punches in round 7.
• After a competitive first two rounds, the vastly more experienced Johnson begins landing telling blows and dictating the pace of the fight.
• With about a minute to go in the final 10th round, Williams staggers Johnson for the first time in the bout with a series of flush punches. Johnson hangs on and uses his experience and ring savvy to survive the round, fending Williams off with his own sharp shots by the time the bell rings to end the fight.
