    • Peter Mueller defended his German middleweight title against the man he took it from 4 months ago, Hans-Werner Wohlers. In the 3rd, a right hook from Mueller floored Wohlers for an 8 count. The bell saved him. At the end of the 4th, Wohlers was down twice, got up at 9 and 6 and was saved by the bell again. A new count in the 5th, this time to 8, made Wohlers retire.
