- Former WBA Super Welterweight champion Yuri Foreman returned to the ring after more than two years and won an eight round unanimous decision over Kenwood Dozier. Foreman's surgically repaired right knee appeared to have fully recovered, as he moved well around the ring. However, Foreman's ring rust allowed Dozier to make a far closer bout of it than it should have been. Scoring appeared neutral and fair. Foreman outworked Dozier just enough to win the close bout.
