After fighting a lazy first round, Hostak knocked Bazzone down in the 2nd round with a right hook, after a two-fisted attack. Bazzone would come back to win the 3rd round. In the 4th round, a right hand staggered Bazzone, before he was floored by a left hook. Hostak then battered him around the ring, and drove him into the ropes where he was defenseless and the bout was stopped.
