Ketchell was knocked down in the 3rd and 4th. Much of the crowd began to leave after the last knockdown assuming Ketchell was finished. Lenhart who appeared out of shape, finished the fight with cuts over both eyes. Freddie Steele boxed a three-round exhibition with Johnny Morris, Seattle light heavyweight, during the show.
