"Canadian heavyweight champion George Chuvalo bulled his way to an easy 2nd round TKO over Miami's Levi Forte Tuesday night. About a minute into the 2nd round, Chuvalo set Forte up with a hard right to the chin. Forte retreated to a corner where Chuvalo barraged him and sent him down for a nine-count. Forte battled his way to an opposite corner but a banging left hook to the stomach put him down for the second time. He was up at nine, but a few seconds later he hit the canvas again from another flurry of left hooks and right hands. Referee Jimmy Peerless stopped the bout at 2:59 of the round." -Associated Press
