Yarosz was floored in the first round and the bell interrupted the count at five. "After that Yarosz made it his business to get to close-quarters and trap one of Turpin's arms or both it he could." Despite receiving more punishment in the second round, Tommy made it through to the end. The third was even and Yarosz won the fourth "and it looked as if the tide had turned with a vengeance."
