Braddock suffered a broken metacarpal in his right hand in the 2nd round, which played a big factor in the result. For the remaining eight rounds, most of Braddock's right hands were bluffs. Braddock closed Levandowski's left eye early in the bout, while suffering a bruised right eye himself. After the hand injury, Lewandowski was able to work his way inside and work Braddock's body.
