Povetkin was too much for his opponent, as L'Heureux was rocked several times in the opening round. In round 2, an overhand right had L'Heureux hurt on the ropes. Povetkin unleashed a series of punches, until a wobbly L'Heureux stumbled forward to the canvas. The referee then waved off the fight as L'Heureux stood back up.
