Jimmy Montoya

World Boxing Hall of Fame Inductee

Jimmy Montoya is a Mexican trainer/manager who has worked with over 15 World Champions. He is the Las Vegas matchmaker for Guilty Boxing and the stepfather of Grant Boxing owner/CEO Grant Elvis Phillips.

He operates out of the Montoya Los Angeles Boxing Club and was the subject of an August 1983 story in The Ring Magazine entitled "Jimmy Montoya: A Look at an Overlooked Trainer."
