Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
He would lose to Povetkin.
Wilder he could beat if he didnt get ko'd in 3.
Loses to Pulev.
Stiverne is shot.
Already beat Cunningham.
Gets ko'd by AJ.
Not sure bout the rest.

Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
I'm not sure that he can beat Wilder. I think Wilder was watching that fight thinking "damn, I should not have been waiting so long to challenge for the championship, that could have been me, and I would be the champion now!"
Fury is a hard guy to figure out though. I've thought that he'd lose sometime over his last fights but he keeps winning. Excluding Joshua, I could see him beating any of the guys, but also he could lose to Povetkin, Wilder, Pulev, and Jennings. Not sure about Takam and Glazkov.

He beats them all.
The top 2 are far more dangerous than everyone else.

Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
I see it like this.
1. Wladimir - He can win the rematch if he fights. If he doesn't like he did today. It'll be a repeat.
2. Povetkin - Knocks out Fury
3. Wilder - Knocks out Fury
4. Pulev - Loses a Decision to Fury
5. Stiverne - Loses a Decision to Fury
6. Carlos Takam - Loses a Decision to Fury
7. Glazkov - Probably gets stopped by Fury, but definitely loses
8. Bryant Jennings - Wins a Decision over Fury
9. Steve Cunningham - Has already been knocked out by Fury, shouldn't be Top 10 anyhow
10. Anthony Joshua - Knocks out Fury

Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
Fury UD12 Klitschko - please no rematch!
Fury UD12 Povetkin - Povetkin a very live underdog, I could definitely see him knocking Fury out, 55:45 fight for me, but I favour Tyson
Fury TKO9 Wilder - If Wilder catches him, it's over, but if Fury is as disciplined as he was against Wlad, he should outbox Deontay, 60:40 fight
Fury UD12 Pulev - Fury a more complete fighter, wins a wide decision
Fury UD12 Stiverne - Lopsided decision, Stiverne a live underdog for a KO
Fury UD12 Takam - Lopsided decision, Takam a live underdog for a KO
Fury UD12 Glazkov - Possible late stoppage for Fury, one-sided fight
Fury UD12 Jennings - Competitive fight but clear decision to Fury
Fury TKO5 Cunningham - surely no rematch
Need to see Joshua in against a top fighter before I make a call on that fight, just not enough evidence.

Agreed.
Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
He's quick enough that he could catch Fury, and if Fury was doing the same dumb shit he did tonight. Putting his hands behind his back and daring Wilder to hit him. He'd get knocked out.

Only one I give a legit chance of beating Fury right now is Povetkin.Ian1973 wrote:Horse wrote:He beats them all.

Klitschko fight will be a duplicate of the first fight.I still ay Klitschko beats the rest of the top 10 still today.
I do think he has slipped in his progressed age as I said right after the Jennings fight. But he still has enough to beat everyone except Fury

Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
fury is clearly not stiverne. fury improves every time out and the next version of furyverballistic wrote: Wilder would fight Fury the same way he fought Stiverne...at long distance with his jab and his bicycle to win a 12-round boring decision (though not as boring as that PATHETIC fight tonight)!!
we see might be much better than this fight, where he moved really well and had
that jab popping for a guy his size, even for heavies much smaller who are decent
boxers. tired of hearing he isn't this or isn't that and if he wasn't 6'9" he'd be bla bla.
he has the physical tools he has and an improving skillset and can stick to his game plan.
the thought that we will get wilder povetkin in the spring and then maybe wilder-fury
not long after that, maybe with fury fighting one of these other guys in the meantime,
makes for an interesting heavyweight scene.

Joshua most dangerous by far (and I'm a Parker fan)Ian1973 wrote:Horse wrote:He beats them all.

Agreed.
New breed faster, angrier and more hungry.
Fury has already admitted to being "beaten up" by Joshua in sparring
I hope to god the age of clinching, Morris dancing uncoordinated giants is nearly over.
I want to see fights where athletes want to hit each other!!!!!

How so? Did you see Fury's weight for his other fights. Fury could turn out to be a one shot wonder.Horse wrote:He beats them all.

I think you could be right. If he is Bi-Polar the money and fame he will now recieve is botha curse and a blessing.
He is a favourite over anybody now, but due to the unpredictabillity of his mental outset, his fighting weight and often his performance it wouldn't shock me if he were to lose against Povetkin, Wilder or Wlad and it would only mildly shock me if he lost to Pulev or Joshua.
Stivverne, Glazkov, Jennings, Cunningham would eat jab for 12 rounds.

Got to favour him over all of them.
Too early to genuinely discuss Joshua. He could be relevant in 3/4 fights.

I would favor him over them all, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him lose to Wilder or Povetkin.

Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
Fury has to be the goofiest looking hw champ ever. But fuuck it he beat Klitscko so he's ok in my book.
With that said Wilder and Povetkin beat him imo.

Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
I think you've summed it up perfectly. Everyone keeps expecting Fury to lose but he doesn't. I don't believe Wilder beats Klitschko from last night. He's too open and if anyone in that top 10 is really believed to be a chin deficit waiting to happen it is him. Fury, if he now works like a champion and does what he said and learns from WK's example, could beat all those guys. I have a sneaking suspicion he'd knock Wilder out but probably be points against the rest. He still has that air of clown waiting to fail about him but I think that's why people underestimate him. How many other heavyweights in recent time have learnt how to switch hit the way he has? You've got to have some talent to be able to reinvent that way at this level.MP wrote:I'm not sure that he can beat Wilder. Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
Povetkin, Pulev, jennings would all make it difficult for Fury.
Pov was the stand out number 2 prior to this fight
not sure about Wilder yet
all the rest are severely limited by the size difference.

Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
Fury is garbage. Last night was an abomination. He must be the worst heavyweight champion ever to hold that many belts. Take a shot, 1 handed Klitchko off his resume his best win is either a fat chisora or a shot chisora. He's wide open on the inside and chinny... he will get sparked against anyone good enough to get inside.
Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
Why is he chinny? He's gone down but wasn't hurt and got up to winRicky_ wrote:Fury is garbage. Last night was an abomination. He must be the worst heavyweight champion ever to hold that many belts. Hahaha sour grapes comes to mind
Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
Fury is learning and improving all the time. He is now doing what wlad mayweather, rigo and golovkin against lemieux have done namely controlling distance and perfecting the art of not getting hit. It is extremely difficult to beat guys like that. You can't learn that skill knocking people out in a roundround or two all the time. Fury learned from experiencing tough times in the ring . Joshua hasn't done that and it may cost him at the top level

Re: Tyson Fury vs The Top 10
how underrated is Fury even after EASILY defeating the BEST heavyweight in the world.. People who say Pulev and jennings wins a decision are really high on drugs.
Tyson should be favored against ANYONE at this moment of time, give this guy credit FFS!
