ELO has serious limitations and quite frankly, isn't a great option for a combat sport with infrequent, sporadic schedules and (sometimes) strange matchmaking. Has BoxRec ever considered applying the Elo Rating System to boxers?
If considered before, why hasn't it been done?

I like the current rating system, but by introducing the Elo Rating System, we could extract even more information out of the statistics right?
