Did Fernando Montiel really win the vacant interim version of the WBO bantamweight title or did he gain the full title? As opposed to what the ring announcer claimed, Montiel said in an interview with BS.com (at 2:10) conducted on March 25, 2009 that the full title would be at stake. It was for the...

That's cool that you have been in training camps with Toney, he's one of my favorite fighters, congratulations on your championship, you fought really well!

But the big winner was Cuba with 4 champions, they dominate beating fighters of the same age that them (you know the excuse that cubans only win in the amateurs because they are adults fighting teenagers).

In the final fight, Mexican Oscar Molina won the Welterweight title beating the Uzbek Mahmudov.

The mexicans won 2 divisions, with Valdez and Molina.

The americans win the Super Heavyweight division with 5'10 Joey Dawejko. Great performance, he was great in the semis beating the giant ukranian, and now he beat the german (who beat the cuban Ibanez in the semis) really easy, 9-1. Great footwork and defense, with this style he could have a great pr...

Nice win by Savon over Dychko

Wow, cuban Larduet stopped the russian Magomedov in 1 round

Rey Recio would make a great pro, a southpaw boxer/puncher

Great prospect Jonathan Gonzalez from Puerto Rico, and is fighting really good Oscar Valdez.
