Ali was knocked down and bloodied by 185-lb Henry Cooper and scored no knockdowns against Cooper in the fight Ali had JUST BEFORE he fought Liston, because the fight with 185-pound Cooper was on the level. The Liston fights were fixes, as is obvious to anyone but flaming Ali shills like yourself. T...

I said he was on his A game when he fought Liston and was not when he fought the likes of Cooer. I didn't say he fought them at different stages of his career. My point was, as I explained after in plain English, not that he was better in terms of age, but that he was simply better because he wasn't...

so what? Motivation is the point. When a fighter feels threatened by an an opponent and knows he has to be at his best to win he often performs better than an opponent he expects to walk all over, but subsequently gets droppped by does he not, hmm?

Who gives a shit? Oakey is WB-Useless champ (camp). I rate the British championship well above the WBU so called world title. I would sooner argue over an area title than two stiffs fighting for a mock title and contributing to the sport's downfall by recognising these phony bullshit belts.

Well there you go. Who knows, there's probably some dusty vault with all manner of unseen footage within. I just wondered where this "middleweight only" myth came from.
there is footage of the true g.o.a.t at his best but very few seem to have seen it (me included, in any entirety).
Sad.

As a heavy: yes he very probably was. P4P no way, Watch Liston v clay and at the start you'll see Ali/Clay bowing to Ray Robinson and well he might. Ali-greatest heavy of all time, maybe Tyson would've beat him but I personally think the Ali who fought Liston, when he (Ali) was on his A game in the ...

? about Sugar Ray

I was just wondering where this concensus that there is no film footage of Robinson fighting at Welter comes from. I have a documentary on video that shows some footage of his fight with Charley Fusari, according to this site, Robinson weighed 147 and Fusari 145 (assuming I understand the layout cor...

I've had shingles and it hurts like fornicating hell. Certainly it would've fucked up his training. But you can get a course of pills that will get rid of it in a couple of weeks (as I did), in some cases the pain never goes away though, depending on how much damage the infection did to the nerve-en...
